Dreamers.
Challenge yourself
The title of this painting is "Risky Robin". Why such a title? One thing is I have a thing for alliteration. Secondly is to encourage challenging myself and others, to move forward take chances in expanding the possibilities. It's about being wise but not fearful. I hopw that makes sense.
Title and why
Her Irises is titled as such because of the garden that my mother had when I was a child
Promise
What is a promise? The dictionary says "a declaration or assurance that one will do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen." I hold on to God's Promises. I did not title this until after I painted it, yet as I stood still, watching, this painting spoke the word Promise to my heart. I've no other way to explain it.
One of my collectors asked if I would please make prints, so I have created reproductions or this artwork. The reproductions are art for display, functional items and decor. Find the original here on my website and reproductions in my fine art america/pixels shop.
June Bouquet Art
There are several layers of images here depicting the story from beginning to the image you see here. First I began with an angel planting seeds, then the flowers and plants grew. Next, the birds, insects, and animals arrived enjoying the plants and flowers. Next, I drew a vase in charcoal, I "picked" the flowers and placed them in the vase. I designed the vase and embellished the flowers. That's the narrative of this painting June Bouquet.

Retuned to Studio after Travels
I am often quite anxious to get back into my studio to paint after traveling. I miss creating in my studio. I started several pieces prior to driving to Colorado. One is this piece which I finished today. Day Moon Dragonfly. Upon this post the piece is listed under Nature here on my website.
