imPRESS Exhibition of monotypes and collagraphs

The process of creating monotypes and collagraphs is interesting. I used oil and acrylic paint on glass to create these. Collagraph refers to a combination of relief and print made on any flat surface using different textures. Usually, it is done by inking a plate with intaglio ink using a paintbrush, roller or some combination.  A Monotype is a single print taken from a design created in oil paint or printing ink on glass or metal Would you like to know more about it?

These are 4 pieces, monotypes and collagraphs I have on exhibition in “imPRESS” which is an exclusively printmaking exhibition. All forms of printmaking, including woodcut relief, lithography, intaglio, collagraphs, etc.
